I absolutely adore Stocking's character and I'm so glad I got to finally do a more elaborate costume, after making her waitress costume!

This costume had a lot of firsts for me and there are still some things I want to correct, before I wear it again (mainly in the lining -_-). I used a white bridal satin on the wrong side for the main part of Stocking's dress and used a light blue casa satin for the stripes. Stocking's costume has blues varying from light to saturated, so I tried my best to find a satin comparable to baby blue.

This corset was my first corset ever! At first it was a headache because my pattern instructions were a bit ambiguous, but after looking at some tutorials it actually became fun to make. The corset is interfaced, contains boning (plastic), lined, and laces up in the back. After this cosplay, I'm actually super excited to make more costumes with corsets.

The hearts were cast out of resin and painted with a blue acrylic in a more saturated blue, compared to the stripes on Stocking's dress. The blue acrylic is sealed with a glossy varnish to prevent chipping and also add some shine. They stay on with pin backs that I purchased from Micheal's.

The wings are individually cut "feathers" out of craft foam. In total, I'd say I cut around 96 pieces. They simply go on using a wire support that slides into two slots that I sewed into the top of my Stocking dress. The corset also adds to the support because of the snug fit it creates.

The sword isn't made out of anything too fancy. It's simply foamcore that I spackled and sanded the edges of to get rid of the ratty edges, which was then painted with acrylic. In order to get the clean graphic lines, I used painters tape.
